All designs, photos, brochures, website content and other promotional materials by Candles For Occasions are protected by copyright and remain the property of Candles For Occasions. These materials may not be copied, reproduced or used under any circumstances without prior written permission. All rights reserved.

Any person or persons found to be in breach of copyright will be dealt with in accordance with current Irish law.

We recognise that privacy is very important. Any contact information you submit will be held in the strictest confidence. We do not sell or disclose your personal information to any third party, except where necessary for the sole purpose of processing and delivering your order.

Product Photos

Photos of your personalised items may be used for advertising purposes after the date of your occasion has passed. If you do not wish for your items to be used in this way, please email info@candlesforoccasions.com and we will refrain from using them for promotional purposes.

We will never display photos that have been printed on candles without your prior consent. We will also never display photos printed on memorial or remembrance items due to the sensitive nature of these products.

Proofs

Design proofs allow clients the opportunity to identify printable errors before production begins. It is the client’s responsibility to carefully review all proofs and highlight any errors made by either the client or the designer.

Once a design proof has been approved, no refunds will be issued for printing errors.

Printed Colours

Colour display can vary between computer screens and devices. As a result, actual printed colours may differ slightly from what appears on your monitor. While every effort is made to match requested colours, Candles For Occasions cannot be held responsible for such variations.

If colour accuracy is important, we recommend requesting a sample swatch prior to placing your order. A fee may apply depending on the product, weight and delivery requirements.

Cancellations

We understand that circumstances may change and, where possible, we aim to accommodate order cancellations. The following conditions apply:

Custom-Made & Personalised Items

Customers may cancel their order up until production has commenced.

• If the order has been designed but not yet printed, a 30% charge will be deducted from the refund to cover design time and administration.

• If the order has been designed and printed, the full cost of the product is non-refundable, with only the delivery charge being refunded, where applicable.

• Once production has commenced, the order is considered final and cannot be cancelled.

Non-Custom / Non-Personalised Items

• Orders for products that are not custom-made or personalised may be cancelled and refunded in full provided the order has not yet been processed.

• If the order has been packed and is ready for dispatch, a 20% administration fee will be deducted from the refund.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email as soon as possible. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method.

Deliveries & Returns
Deliveries

All orders are dispatched using An Post. You will receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

While An Post typically delivers within 2 working days, delivery timeframes cannot be guaranteed once the parcel has been handed over. Delays may occur from time to time, particularly during busy periods such as Christmas. Candles For Occasions cannot be held responsible for delayed or late deliveries.
 

Returns

Personalised Items
Since all personalised items are made just for you, they cannot be returned unless there’s an error on our part. If your item is personalised incorrectly or arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we’ll happily arrange a replacement.
 

Non-Personalised Items
For non-personalised items, you can return them within 14 days of receipt. Items must be in perfect condition and in their original packaging, and the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund promptly.
 

Transit Damage
Please check your order as soon as it arrives. Any damage during transit must be reported within 24 hours of delivery so we can resolve it quickly.
